The 37-year-old duchess went into labor in the early hours of Monday, May 6.  Duchess Meghan was rumored to be hiring a doula to guide her through labor, with some reports suggesting it was going to be a home birth. Exact details of the labor and delivery have not been revealed.

The 34-year-old Harry, speaking before TV cameras on Monday afternoon in Windsor, said he was present for the birth, saying: “It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension.”

“We’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there. It’s been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody,” he gushed.
