Remember when this place was “the place” to be on Friday or Saturday nights? Well, while it is not the poppin hangout it used to be it definitely is a place you want to be! I was craving a good steak and I got that and more!!
We were greeted immediately by a pleasant server who told us the wait was about 25 minutes. We waited in the bar and had excellent service from the bartender. When our table was called our hostess brought our drinks and appetizer to our table for us. Nice touch. Our server was there right away and he was fabulous. We never had to hunt for him and he kept our food coming at just the right pace.

We started out with crispy fried garlic pepper zucchini chips and added a sampler. The zucchini was forkin delicious! Cut thin, and lightly breaded these are a must try!! Also included in the sampler were potato skins, boneless hot wings, and shrimp cocktail. All were super delicious.
I ordered the New York steak with salad and loaded baked potato. While I am not usually a fan of this cut of steak, (I am a rib eye girl), I decided to give it a try. Holy forks am I glad I did!! A large thick cut of steak cooked to absolute perfection. It was melt in your mouth forkalicious!! The baked potato was also delicious, filled with sour cream, butter, and chives. I was so full but just couldn’t stop eating!! Also ordered was the prime rib. If you’re a prime rib fan then I highly recommend this!! Perfectly cooked to a juicy perfection. So tender you could cut it with a fork.
To finish off our meal we had the cheese cake. Smooth, creamy deliciousness!!

The restaurant offers a “campfire feast for two” that runs $58. This consists of an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert to share. Excellent deal but you can get the same deal with a coupon for $43!! Well worth the money either way you go!!
5 forks for price!
Such a pleasant surprise to revisit this place and find it to be so great!! The staff is wonderful, from the hostess, bartender, server to the chef all were fabulous and friendly. When I have mentioned that I went there for dinner so many people said they thought the place was closed. Lucky for all of us steak lovers it alive and very well!!!! I highly recommend you try this place soon!!!
5 forks overall!
Until next time...eat well my friends,

For Mothers day, my Son and his girlfriend took me to brunch at Copper River. I am now a huge fan!!! The restaurant has a beautiful, welcoming style and fabulous views with seating options both inside or out. Our party was large, 12 people, and the acomodations were very comfortable.
We were greeted by Member Relations director, Kelly Devine. Though we were not members she took the time to make us feel welcome and comfortable. When I called to make my reservation for my next forkalicious visit she was such a delight to speak with. Her excelent customer service skills make her a huge asset to Copper River. Not to mention, we share the same last name! The brunch is buffet style with an abundance of attentive servers to take care of our every need. The brunch includes bottomles mimosas as well as coffe, tea, juices or soda. Our glasses were never empty long and our table was kept clear of dirty dishes and clutter.

Oh my, were to begin!! The buffet is in a huge L shape and begins with an assortment of just about every pastry one can think of. Next comes the typical breakfast choices of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon biscuts and gravy etc. That is where the “typical” ends and the amazing begins. Eggs benidict, shrimp scampi, chicken and waffles just to name a few of the choices. Moving on to a huge assortment of fresh fruit with fresh cream. There is an omelet bar where a chef creates your perfect omelet with your choice of fillings. The carving table has prime rib as well as fresh turkey. The section that really blew my mind was the cold seafood table. Fresh oysters on the half shell, mussles, huge fresh shrimp and, wait for it…endless crab legs!!! Are you forkin kidding me!!??! Fresh, thinly sliced cold salmon along with bagels ad lauks round out this seafood extranveganza. The dessert tables are all around the room and offer the same amazing assortment of delicious treats.
All of the food is presented beatifully and absolutley delicious. Chef Adam Meier is a true artist and, as I have been back twice since, is able to duplicate this masterpiece over and over.
5 Forks for food!!
While the brunch is not cheap, for what you receive it is definetly worth every penny and then some. I highly recommend calling for reservations as they are becoming increasingly popular!!
5 Forks for pricing!!
The people, food and ambiance make this my number one choice for brunch these days!! I have been back and it is consistanly amazing!! This is a must try for all!!!
5 Forks overall!!
Until next time…eat well my Friends,
