Copper River Country Club – Sunday Brunch

For Mothers day, my Son and his girlfriend took me to brunch at Copper River. I am now a huge fan!!! The restaurant has a beautiful, welcoming style and fabulous views with seating options both inside or out. Our party was large, 12 people, and the acomodations were very comfortable.

Service:
We were greeted by Member Relations director, Kelly Devine. Though we were not members she took the time to make us feel welcome and comfortable. When I called to make my reservation for my next forkalicious visit she was such a delight to speak with. Her excelent customer service skills make her a huge asset to Copper River.  Not to mention, we share the same last name! The brunch is buffet style with  an abundance of attentive servers to take care of our every need. The brunch includes bottomles mimosas as well as coffe, tea, juices or soda. Our glasses were never empty long and our table was kept clear of dirty dishes and clutter.

Food:
Oh my, were to begin!! The buffet is in a huge L shape and begins with an assortment of just about every pastry one can think of. Next comes the typical breakfast choices of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon biscuts and gravy etc. That is where the “typical” ends and the amazing begins. Eggs benidict, shrimp scampi, chicken and waffles just to name a few of the choices. Moving on to a huge assortment of fresh fruit with fresh cream. There is an omelet bar where a chef creates your perfect omelet with your choice of fillings. The carving table has prime rib as well as fresh turkey. The section that really blew my mind was the cold seafood table. Fresh oysters on the half shell, mussles, huge fresh shrimp and, wait for it…endless crab legs!!! Are you forkin kidding me!!??! Fresh, thinly sliced cold salmon along with bagels ad lauks round out this seafood extranveganza. The dessert tables are all around the room and offer the same amazing assortment of delicious treats.
All of the food is presented beatifully and absolutley delicious. Chef Adam Meier is a true artist and, as I have been back twice since, is able to duplicate this masterpiece over and over.

Pricing:
While the brunch is not cheap, for what you receive it is definetly worth every penny and then some. I highly recommend calling for reservations as they are becoming increasingly popular!!
