Hi friends!!!! Most people who know me know that I absolutely love great seafood. I had all but given up on finding a place that served such food…then I found Pismo’s!! While they are not new to town I had not tried them. Well, I am now kicking my own forkin butt for not trying this place sooner!! Located in the Villaggio Shopping center on Blackstone and Nees this place is a must try!!!
Service:
I was greeted by an extremely pleasant hostess who asked my preference in location and seated me immediately. Our server was at the table within a few minutes. She was very knowledgeable about the food and cocktail choices and we ordered appetizers and cocktails which were brought out very quickly. Throughout the meal our server was attentive and very fun to talk to.

Food:
For appetizers we ordered the crab cocktail and the swordfish bites. The crab cocktail has large, tender chunks of delicious crab, topped with thin sliced serranos, drenched in an amazing lemon garlic marinade and served with dejonaise sauce. Melt in your forkin mouth good! The swordfish bites were a special and they were just that!! Large chunks of tender, flavorful swordfish encased in a light deep fried batter and served with house made tartar sauce and cocktail sauce with a splash of horseradish.
I ordered the Shrimp and Clam Pasta. Linguini pasta with a generous amount of very fresh clams along with several large juicy shrimp. All of this is sautéed in a light white wine garlic sauce. To make this dish even more amazing they add a large chunk of fresh sourdough bread for soaking up the wine sauce. My mouth is watering as I write this!! I seriously can’t wait to have it again!!
Also ordered was the Grilled Wild Chilean Sea Bass. Served with your choice of two sides this dish is off the forkin hook! Upon the advice of our server we chose the creamy mashed potatoes and the special Brussel sprouts. Many of you may say “yuck” to Brussel sprouts, once you have these you shall crave them as I now do. Sautéed in hoisin sauce with bacon these are the best vegies ever!!!

Overall this was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The service from the moment I entered right down to the moment we left was absolutely top notch. The cocktails were well made and refreshing. And the food…oh baby the food!! I will be back, again and again as there were so many other choices on the menu that I must stick my fork into!! Well done Pismo’s!
